From Paintings to Prints

Every painting has a story. A radish, a flower, a snowman can be as important as a piece of furniture or a sailboat. All are great subjects for an artist. I gave them equal consideration when including them in my paintings.

The current format of the products in my online store is the result of a long transformative process. It all started with an idea and the desire to create something beautiful.

I looked around and found beauty everywhere. So I took pictures, a lot of pictures. Some of them became reference images for my paintings.

The mediums used in my paintings include watercolor, gouache, and acrylic. Occasionally, I add other materials, such as paper, salt, or sand, for texture. Many of my paintings are, in fact mixed-media projects.

I transferred the paintings to digital format and used my graphic design skills to edit them. You will notice that some of the products/prints for sale in my online store represent only a small portion of a painting, the part that I consider the best. It is similar to how we select only certain events in our lives to turn them into everlasting memories.

Add value to these paintings by including them in your own stories. Turn them into happy and meaningful gifts for your family and friends or for yourself.

My online store uses Shopify and the Print on Demand service provided by Printful. This is my first business project. View the products listed in the Catalogue section. In 2025 and 2026, these products will be sold in Canada. If the business is successful, I will expand sales to other countries in the following years.

Thank you for visiting. The products in my Catalogue will be available for sale, online only, starting Monday, November 10, 2025.

My Stories

Seasons

Some of the prints in the Catalogue are based on the watercolour paintings I used to create my animated film Seasons. This film participated in two festivals in 2025, Canada International Children's Film Festival and Toronto Short Film Festival.

Travel Through Time

I took this picture over 10 years ago. My family and I were watching the tall ship parade in the Toronto harbour. The Parade of Sail is an event offered by the Toronto Waterfront Festival each year at the beginning of summer. This is one of the reference pictures for my Tall Ships paintings. You will find prints of the paintings in the Catalogue under the Travel Through Time section.
